When MedTest purchased Pointe Scientific, they were faced with a decision: “Do we keep our current marketing partner, or transition to the marketing partner Pointe has been working with?” We created this video for part of a pitch presentation to win their business.
MEDTEST.COM WEBSITE DESIGN
With the purchase of Pointe Scientific, MedTest DX decided that they wanted to use the MedTest name as the parent company of the two brands. Because each brand had legacy customers who would need to be sent in the right direction when investigating products and services, MedTest decided they wanted to develop a “portal” website that would serve two purposes: branding the new parent company, and guiding their customers to the right information.
We created an API for Pointe Scientific’s product catalog so that the search feature of the new MedTest site would be able to dynamically search through Pointe Scientific’s catalog without having to redevelop the database. We gave the site a “one page scroller” design style, as its purpose was to primarily be a landing page that provided information on the parent company and then guided vistors to either Pointe Scientific or MedTest DX. This was part of a longer term strategy to eventually shift both brands into the MedTest brand.
As MedTest was gearing up for the release of the brand new BA800M Analyzer, JCM was called upon to help with the promotion. The first step was to create an advertisement announcing the 800M release. The second step was to then create a landing page to direct interested individuals to more details on the analyzer.
